Wendy's® Signs a Biggie Deal with SIRIUS®
Clearwater, FL, November 2, 2006 -

Wendy’s International, Inc, (NYSE: WEN) has agreed to install SIRIUS Satellite Radio® in a large portion of company-owned stores. The service will provide a select number of SIRIUSBusiness channels, supplied by Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC), which consists of 67 channels of 24-hour, commercial-free music from SIRIUS Satellite Radio® (NASDAQ: SIRI). AMTC will also provide sound equipment under the agreement.

"Wendy's has publicly declared a focus on enhancing our profitability, which includes a plan to reduce company G&A significantly this year. The switch to SIRIUSBusiness is a portion of that plan," explained Dave MacLeod, Senior Vice President of Franchise & Customer Technology Services.
