Sirius Internet Radio Begins

A new era is set to begin at Sirius Satellite Radio. All of the rumors and speculation have now been confirmed. Sirius has launched Sirius Internet Radio.
The service allows subscribers from around the globe to join the Sirius family, and to receive very high quality broadcasts. Over 75 channels will be offered with the service, and that may well grow as the new service develops.
Existing subscribers will be able to boost sound quality at a discounted rate.
This is a nice way for Sirius to boost ARPU, and to expand to markets where there is no satellite coverage for Sirius. SSG will have more details as they become available.
