'Tony' To Have a Radio Show on Sirius
April 25th, 2006
'Tony' from Dairy Queen, better known as Mark Cuban, will join the ranks of Howard Stern, Phil Jackson, and many others, to host a two-hour show titled Maverick Radio.
“Howard Stern won’t have anything on me,” Cuban wrote in an e-mail to the Star-Telegram. “I’m going to cover everything and anything, from sports to business to technology, movies and entertainment. I’m going to take full advantage of the no-holds barred opportunity that Sirius is offering me.”
Maverick Radio will start on Sirius later this summer, Sundays from 12p to 2p Eastern (9a-11a Pacific).
Cuban is the former co-founder of Broadcast.com (now owned by Yahoo!) and HDNet, a TV network entirely in High-Definition.
