NAB Hires Lobbyist for Broadcast Issues

NAB Hires Bluewater to Lobby Federal Government on Proposed Radio Satellite Merger
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The National Association of Broadcasters hired Bluewater Strategies LLC to lobby the federal government on satellite radio broadcasting and other issues, according to a federal lobbying disclosure form filed Wednesday.

The firm said it will lobby on the proposed merger between Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. and XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., royalty taxes, advertising restrictions and antitrust issues.
George Nethercutt, the former Republican congressman from Washington, is among those registered to lobby on behalf of the NAB......MORE HERE
