The Meaning Of "Competition Alert"
After Sirius and XM announced their agreement to merge, several groups came out against the combination claiming that it was "anti-competitive". I have created the headline "competition alert", which I use everytime a competing service is highlighted in the news. Here is a
list of the mentions over the past few months. I'm sure the FCC and DOJ staff members read the papers, too!

Will you also have a "decrease in competition" alert as these announcements fail to materialize and as CDs, the predominant music medium, become history, and when -- if it comes to pass -- the merger is approved?
