Latino Coalition Urges FCC to Approve Merger

May 1, 2007

The Latino Coalition has written a letter to the FCC urging the commission to approve the proposed merger between Sirius and XM satellite Radio.

The letter cites diverse programming and lists several competitors such as terrestrial radio, I-Pods as well as the opportunities for additional channels in place of duplicitous programming. Click the letter to enlarge.

  • Along with the Black Chamber of Commerce representing 95,000 black business owners and now the Latino Coalition, I would think the FCC and DOJ would pay attention to their wants and needs.
