FCC Comment Scorecard - 5-21 Edition

Comments Virtually Even Today - 29 PRO and 24 ANTI

Since the last report 53 new comments have been filed bringing the total to date to 552. Of today’s 53 comments, 29 were for the merger and 24 were against. Once again, most of the comments were form letters that seem to be an effort established by a group of people on either side of the issue. Another thing we see happening is the backlash from fans of Opie & Anthony, who now seem to be making efforts in the anti-merger camp. The effort seems to have died down a bit, but still exists with O & A fans making up over 20% of the anti merger comments.

The events of today see the Pro Merger camp still in front by 14 points.

PRO MERGER – 55%

ANTI MERGER – 41%

NOT APPLICABLE – 4%
