National Black Chamber of Commerce Endorses MergerThe National Black Chamber of Commerce, representing 95,000 black owned businesses, came out in
support of the merger between XM and Sirius, stating that satellite radio has been critical to the programming needs of African Americans. We didn't realize this, but they state that the "medium offers dozens of channels that are targeted to the programming needs of African American entrepreneurs, entertainers, and consumers."
