Motorola’s Wireless Internet iRadio Shelved

Motorola has delayed its iRadio service indefinitely, according to reports. The Internet radio service had been in beta testing for well over a year. It was designed to allow users to listen to cached Internet radio station streams on their phones.

However, Motorola's Dave Ulmer told Billboard that U.S. wireless networks were more interested in carrying their own wireless music service than others'. Asians and European networks may find the iRadio service more appealing, Ulmer said, and added that Motorola plans "major revisions" to the service...read more: here
