Protect Your Stiletto In Style

November 7, 2006

If you have a Sirius Stiletto, you should strongly consider protecting it. Here at SSG we reviewed two protection methods for the Stiletto.

We hooked up with the knowledgeable guys at TSS Radio and found two options that we think are quite stylish while at the same time offering great protection, and as a bonus, include a belt clip to attach the Stiletto to your hip.

FIRST THINGS FIRST

If you have ever had a cell phone, PDA, or any electronic device, you are well aware that the screen will at some point suffer from scratches unless you protect it. Screen overlays are a great way to protect your Stiletto. The transparent overlays are simply applied to the screen of the Stiletto, and thus it is the overlay that gets scuffed, and not your screen. The overlays are easy to apply, and inexpensive enough that you can get good protection for short money. TSS Radio sells Stiletto overlays in a two pack for $9.99. If you are picking up a Stiletto, or anything else from TSS Radio, you should consider adding these overlays to your order.

PROTECTION WITH A CLIP

As you may be aware, the stiletto does not have a built in clip. There are several solutions, but we opted for the leather case which includes a clip as well as a strap. The sleek case features a front flap with magnetic closure. Users can also opt to remove the front flap if the desire. Use in conjunction with the screen overlays, and you have a winning combination. TSS Radio sells the leather case for $25.00, which qualifies this accessory for their free shipping (orders of $25 or more).

The case is designed specifically for the Stiletto, and gives the user access to all of the functions and features of the device. The soft black leather is classy and sleek, and the form fitting aspect of the case keeps the size just right. The case easily attaches to a belt via a sturdy clip on the back of the case. No worries about having the Stiletto falling of with this clip.

All told, these are simple and cost effective ways to protect your device while retaining full functionality.
