This Stand-Alone Internet Package Is Significant For Sirius

As mentioned in the post below "Howard Stern Reaches Out To Internet Audience", Sirius is launching a new stand-alone internet service with more than 75 channels of CD-quality programming. Sirius has had an (evolving) internet service for a while, but this is the first time that access to content will be available without requiring subscribers to purchase a receiver. Since Sirius receivers can only be purchased and used within the U.S. and Canada, this new internet-only subscription makes Sirius programming available world wide, for access to a huge potential subcriber base.

Undisputedly, Howard Stern made a significant impact on subcriber additions, thanks to his base of loyal fans that followed him to Sirius. Now, Sirius is using him again to launch the internet-only service with a two-day free trial of "The Howard Stern Show".

I wonder if the Stiletto's Wi-Fi feature can be used internationally...
