Sirius Goes Global

Sirius Satellite Radio is going global thanks to their new Sirius Internet Radio (S.I.R.) service. Availability of Sirius has always been available to subscribers who have a Sirius tuner, but until now has not been available in an on-line only format.
The new Sirius Internet Radio now allows people from around the world to access Sirius' content. Additionally, Sirius has brought the bit rate up to 128 kbs which is considered CD quality.
The launch of S.I.R. will also include Howard Sterns array of programming, and for two days this month people from across the globe will be able to get Sirius, inclusive of Stern free. This will give people of the U.S. and globe an opportunity to see what Sirius is all about.
