Please Give This Your Consideration

Sometimes there are things that just merit some attention, and as a veteran, this one caught my eye. An SSG reader took the time to let me know about a program that is being sponsored by Xerox.
When I was deployed, it was great to hear from home, and great to know that there were people who cared about soldiers regardless of whether they agreed with the mission. Little cards and letters such as these mean the world to soldiers.
I can remember vividly sitting on the turrent of a Danish Leopard tank reading a letter from a third grade class. The brief messages from this class of third graders, who until then were unknown to me, caused me to well up inside.
Soldiers need a connection to home, and these postcards can go a long towards brightening the day of someone who is away from home. Please consider participating.
Xerox is sponsoring a program to send thank you postcards to members of our armed forces.

http://www.letssaythanks.com/ you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving overseas. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed forces. Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them.
