Stiletto Clarifications - No Bluetooth - Size

There has been a lot of information floating around about the Sirius Stiletto, and many people are wondering about some of the capabilities. We did some more digging regarding the unit, and have the following to report:

BLUETOOTH

While this would be a nifty function, it is NOT a feature that is incorporated into the Stiletto according to sources who are familiar with the unit, which has now been shown at several retailer familiarity events. It is most likely that these rumors started with someone simply confusing Bluetooth with WIFI.

DIMENSIONS

People seem to make a big deal out of these dimensions to a degree that is not really warranted, but we did take steps to clarify dimensions:

Front Antenna-Side Height – 4.33 inches
Front Non-Antenna-Side Height – 4.13 inches
Front Width – 1.97 inches
Depth With Standard Battery – 0.67 inches
Rear Antenna-Side Height – 4.72 inches
Rear Non-Antenna-Side Height – 4.53 inches
Rear Width – 1.73 inches
Extended Battery 2.76 inches x 1.73 inches x 0.16 inches

If you want the volume, you have to do a bit of averaging.

Average height = 4.43 inches
Average Width = 1.85 inches
Depth With Standard Battery = 0.67

Volume of Stiletto = approx. 5.49 cubic inches

Volume of Extended Battery = 0.76 cubic inches

Volume of Stiletto With Extended Battery = 6.25 cubic inches.
