SSG Catches Up With Chip Harrison - Sirius Angler

We here at SSG followed the FLW Tour season pretty closely, and kept an eye on Sirius satellite Radio angler Chip Harrison. We caught up with Chip today after he took some time off with the conclusion of the FLW Tour.
Chip placed 17th in the championship event earlier this month. The event was a bracket elimination event and Chip was outdone by the man who would eventually take 2nd place in the event. It turns out that Chip was about 1.5 pounds shy of winning that round. This was Chip's 3rd trip to the championship event in the last 4 years. Chip's overall rank on the 2006 FLW Tour was 28th with winnings of $56,750.
After elimination Chip spent some time at the "Fun Zone" where there are events, booths, and overall fun for fans of FLW. Chip stopped by the Sirius booths for some visiting with Eric Pollard from Sirius, and helping Sirius ensure that fun was had by all.
We here at SSG would like to salute Chip Harrison for a great season on the FLW Tour, and thank him for taking the time to touch base with us throughout the season.
With the conclusion of the FLW Tour, Chip still has two events left in the FLW Series, Lake of the Ozarks on October 10th, and Lewis Smith Lake on November 14th. For the FLW Series Chip currently sits in 102nd place with 291 points and winnings of $10,000 (having fished in only 2 of the 3 events held so far this year).
Watch for Chip in the Sirius boat in the final 2 events.
