Bloomberg On FM Modulator Issue, More Press For Stern

Aug. 4 (Bloomberg) --

"Todd Murphy is fed up with satellite radio, and he isn't even a customer. During morning commutes, Murphy says, his National Public Radio station begins blaring out foul-mouthed talk show host Howard Stern. ``I'm sitting at a traffic light and all of a sudden I'm listening to a different radio station,'' said Murphy, 40, a real estate developer in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey....

Stations near 88.1 are also affected. Murphy's favorite station, NPR affiliate WBGO in Newark, New Jersey, broadcasts at 88.3 FM. "The fun part is when you are in traffic and you can't get rid of the guy,'' said Murphy, speaking of Stern. ``It can last up to 20 minutes.'' Read more: HERE
