Fox About to Launch Business Channel

satellite Standard Group keeps you informed. Fox is about to launch a business channel. This according to several sources.

While there is no direct tie in to satellite radio, Fox has been known to try to bundle content in their deals with XM and Sirius. Fox also is very popular on both carriers. The question are:

1. Does Fox want to put their business news channel on satellite radio?

2. Does satellite radio want to dedicate the bandwidth to the programming?

It will be interesting to see whether or not this new venture by Fox makes it to Sirius or XM.

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- First the London Times is coming to New York, and now Watercooler hears Fox News Business Channel is about to launch. A number of tipsters claim the channel could launch as soon as this month. One Fox insider says carriage deals are in place with the main cable systems operators and with News Corp. sibling DirecTV, and that negotiations are very close with Time Warner Cable......"
