AAA and Sirius

Last evening on my commute home, I tuned into a terrestrial radio station (WEEI AM) to catch a little bit of Red Sox talk. As I was driving I heard an advertisement for AAA. Not unusual in the least.....this is terrestrial radio and advertising is expected.

What was surprising was that Sirius Satellite Radio had a prominent mention in the ad. Listeners were informed about all of the other benefits of being a member of AAA, and Sirius is one of those benefits.

Seems that while the relationship between Sirius and AAA has been known for quite some time, the added bonus of being included in terrestrial radio advertising was not something I expected.
