Sirius Signs With National Lacrosse League

Sirius Canada has announced a multi-year broadcasting and marketing agreement with the National Lacrosse League (NLL), North America’s professional indoor lacrosse league. The agreement makes Sirius the exclusive and official satellite radio partner of the league.
Beginning February 2, Sirius will broadcast a live NLL “Game of the Week” throughout the season, plus the Champion’s Cup Playoffs. In addition, Sirius Canada has entered into marketing agreements with each of the Canadian NLL teams, including the Calgary Roughnecks, Edmonton Rush and Toronto Rock.
Sirius will also debut a weekly, one-hour show later this season that will feature highlights, news and analysis.
“We’re excited to team up with Sirius Satellite Radio to give fans even greater access to NLL action,” said National Lacrosse League Commissioner Jim Jennings. “As more and more people are tuning in to satellite radio, it’s important that we partner with Sirius, the industry leader and the top provider of sports radio programming.” ..read more: here
