The New York Post: Lower Gas Prices=More Ford Sales

Oil prices continued to tumble last week, bringing prices at the gas pump down to their lowest level in 12 months - an average price of $2.29 a gallon for regular unleaded.
Nobody was happier than 60-year-old Vinny DeGloria.
DeGloria, the sales manager at Pleasantville Ford, a dealership in suburban Westchester, started seeing folks return to the showroom.
"A lot of people's eyes are opening up, and things are starting to go in the right direction again," said DeGloria, who has been in the car game since he was a wet-behind-the-ears 21-year-old.
The executive had a rough summer as oil hit a high of $78.60 a barrel in July and gas soared past $3 a gallon. That put the breaks on sales - particularly sales of the more profitable light trucks, which make up 61 percent of Ford's revenue...READ MORE:
