Over the past few months there has been widespread speculation concerning when The Howard Stern Tapes (Classic Stern) would make its debut on Sirius. From Father's Day, to July 4th, the rumor mill has been churning with speculation since May. That's when Sirius first announced they had acquired Howard Stern's Radio Show archive from CBS. The tapes span from 1985 through 2005 and represent more than 23,000 hours of Stern's terrestrial radio shows.The good news is "History Repeats Itself" and Sirius appears to be committing to a fall '06 launch of "Classic Stern."
