Streaming Howard Stern

May 2, 2006

During their Q1 Conference Call Sirius Satellite Radio Announced that they will have the Howard Stern Show streaming on the internet prior to Fathers Day. Mel Karmazin stated that the on-line availability offers additional value to consumers who will now be able to listen "at the office, at home, or in a dorm".

Details relating to other Stern content such as the Bubba The Love Sponge Show and the Scott Ferrall show were not elaborated upon.

One concept that may intrigue investors is whether or not the Sirius site for streaming Stern will have advertising revenue. Stay tuned, because we will know more in the coming weeks.

UPDATE: It should be noted that sirius has no plans of offering a discounted "on-line only" subscription. For consumers this means $12.95 per month (as if you had a radio). For investors this means that Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) will not be negatively impacted by a lower tiered pricing plan.
