SSG Exclusive Interview With Manson Of The Bubba The Love Sponge Show

This Week SSG interviewed Mason from the Bubba The Love Sponge Show. Manson is a staple on the show, and is the man behind many of the parodies and bits that listeners hear and enjoy so much.

SSG - Manson, you are well known for your creation of bits and song parodies. What is it that inspires your work?

Manson - My faith in Jesus Christ. He died on the cross so I could do funny shit bits on the radio. Or if I have writers block, I pray to Satan, and smoke dope.

SSG - The Bubba The Love Sponge Show is a hit on Sirius Satellite Radio. Satellite radio gives you much more latitude and freedom in your work. Can you picture yourself back on terrestrial radio?

Manson - Absolutely not. Unless I get fired and had no where else to go.

SSG - How do you define McGuilicutty?

Manson - It's everything, or nothing. Whatever you want it to be. Bush should start using it.

SSG - You are also well known for your voice impersonations. What are some of your favorite voices to do?

Manson - Clinton and Tyson were always my favorites. They don't make celebs like that anymore.

SSG - Where do you practice these impersonations?

Manson - If I'm doing a bit that involves an impersonation, I will get a tape of the subject and do the lines over and over until I get it right.

SSG - What do you think of Laskers new Nike's?

Manson - They are awesome!(If you're a 12 year old boy.)

SSG - Which Sirius receiver do you have, and if you were to turn it on right now what station would it be on?

Manson - I have an S50 and it is tuned to Howard 101

SSG - What channels are your favorites on Sirius?

Manson - 100, 101, all polka and clogging channels.

SSG - How do you keep up with current events?

Manson - I watch Fox news incessantly. It's infuriating in it's right wing bias, but hey it's a much better presentation than CNN. Plus No one can tell me I'm influenced by the Left wing media.
