Esquire - Serious About Sirius

Satellite Standard Group (SSG) reports that Barry Sonnenfeld of Esquire Magazine recently tried out the Sirius S50 and wrote an article about it March 31, 2006.

Sonnenfelds comments include,

“....But what makes the Sirius S50 excellent is that it is not only a satellite receiver but also a recorder. It has a built-in one-gigabyte hard drive that lets you record and store up to 50 hours of programming. The hard drive is always creating a 44-minute buffer of whatever station you're listening to, so if you hear a song you like, press a button and it will record the entire song to its memory (even if you didn't press the record button until the middle of the song). Pull off the top half of the unit, plug in headphones, and you've got a portable music player.”
