Sirius' Out Q Gets Mention

When sirius launched Out Q it was a first of its kind format. A place where openly gay people could talk on a regular radio show. The channel has been a hit in the gay community, and perhaps to the suprise of some also garners a lot of straight listeners.

This week Sirius got mention in Gaywired.com because a American Idol top 5 finalist RJ Helton came out on the Larry Flick's show Out Q in The Morning. Compelling content such as Out Q is one of many reasons why people are finding their way to satellite radio.

RJ Helton, the 25-year old former American Idol contestant, came out of the closet publicly for the first time Wednesday to SIRIUS Satellite Radio’s host Larry Flick on Flick’s show "OutQ in the Morning" on SIRIUS OutQ, the gay channel on SIRIUS Satellite Radio.
Helton was a top five finalist on season one of American Idol.
When Flick asked Helton, during the on-air interview, why he stopped performing inspirational [or religious]
