Visteon is Innovating

Visteon has come up with yet another satellite radio innovation. The guys at Orbitcast posted a new patent that Visteon applied for. The patent is for an OEM satellite radio with a removable component that enables the radio to be used outside the car (perhaps in a boom-box, home kit, etc.). Last year Visteon introduced an in dash unit that can easily switched between Sirius and XM. Visteon has struck a deal with Nissan (who already uses an interoperable antenna) to install these units. You can see that product HERE and HERE .
